“I’ve used several personal trainers over the years, and when meeting a new one, I usually have
reservations about whether they can teach me anything that I already haven’t learned, will the workouts be engaging and effective, and, most importantly, does this person know what they are doing? These reservations were quickly put to ease during my initial consultation with Michael. It was evident that he was very knowledgeable in many areas of health. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he has a very holistic approach to fitness and that we would be incorporating proper breathing mechanics into our sessions which have proven to be super beneficial. Michael has been great at answering all questions I’ve had, and he’s been quick to point me in the direction of valuable resources that have aided in my health journey. He made some subtle yet beneficial changes to my movement patterns that have helped with nagging pain and made me more confident in my day-to-day activities. In the past, I had always been told that fitness was a lot of “no pain, no gain,” and I subscribed to that mindset. Since starting with Michael, I now realize this isn’t the case, and I like how he explains why hetakes certain approaches and protocols for our training. I leave our sessions feeling more energized than when I walked in, which is a big reversal of what I had been used to.
